The new bassoon bocal is a big change. It out plays my Heckel bocal by a significant amount, and it also is far better than the bocal used by the guy I play with who has a 1967 vintage Heckel bassoon and bocal. Plan a Visit to Fox

Each year, we host visitors from all around the world. Many come to try instruments, some to bring their instruments in for service, and some simply come to see the place where their instrument was built. We would be happy to host a visit by you to our factory. If you would like to have your instrument worked on during your visit, please visit the repair section of our website. It will list the different services and includes a form to make an appointment for your visit. If you would like to try instruments, especially professional models, we will need as much notice as possible so that we can make sure that we have instruments finished and ready to try.

If you would like to visit simply to take a tour of our factory, please feel free to contact us at your convenience. Our hours of operation and contact information can be found below. For a tour, we usually only need about 24 hours notice.

Finally, summer is our busiest time for visitors, so if you intend to visit during those months (May-August), please make sure to contact us as early as possible so that we can make your visit an enjoyable one.

Hours of operation

To help assist you in planning a visit and tour of our factory, our hours of operation, during which we are available to give tours and for others requests, are listed below.

From Labor Day through Memorial Day, we are open for visits and tours Monday through Friday during the following hours: 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

From Memorial Day through Labor Day (summer months), we are open for visits and tours Monday through Friday during the following hours: 7:45 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
