Our bassoon, contrabassoon, and Heckelphone shapers are all completely made by us.  These are all of the straight style, rather than foldover tip style shapers.  We do not make tip shapers, only straight shapers. 

Our straight shapers are made using the same computer controled milling machines we also use for producing many of the parts for our instrument keys.  These machines are very accurate allowing great consistency for reproducing the designs.  Any straight shaper we've ever made in the past can be made again with identical results. 

We try to keep the more popular shapes available for immediate shipment.  Other shapes can be made to order and included in the next batch of shapers we produce.  Allow about 2-4 months for delivery of any shape we don't have in stock. 

The complete list of shapes is rather long.  The Fox #1, #2, #3 and K bassoon shapers, and the Fox CB contrabassoon shapers are "Fox" shapes.  All others are "special" shapes that have been designed and produced as a result of requests from various players.  For information about having special shapes produced please contact the factory.
