High G(sharp)/A Ring Key
This ring key is added to the first finger hole of the boot joint and controls a vent just above that finger hole. The purpose of this key is to simplify the sequence of finger movements involved to play the high G(sharp) and the high A. It can also improve the voice of these notes.
