Auxiliary Low C(sharp)
Mechanism
The touch is added alongside the low B natural key just above the low C touch.
It enables the left thumb to operate the low C(sharp) key. This can be used to
play a low C(sharp)/D(sharp) trill. This mechanism provides a better action
than the auxiliary spatula. Unlike the auxiliary spatula, the touch of the
auxiliary mechanism is usually connected with the low C key so that the low C
key is closed when the low C(sharp) is opened.
