About the Artist's Instrument

I love the certainty that the instrument is naturally in tune, and any intonation issues are simply to do with me and the reed. The tone of the instrument is very flexible so it can be adapted according to what is needed. Within the orchestra I can react to my colleagues both in terms of sound and dynamics.
