About the Artist's Instrument
My Fox Model 601 bassoon has an open quality in both tone and resistance which makes it really sing. Because of this I feel limitless! I can still discover new and better things in my playing while maintaining the sound I want. When selecting my bassoon I tested out a bunch of instruments, both Fox and other brands. I ended up liking two 601s so it is definitely the model for me.
