“I love the certainty that the instrument is naturally in tune, and any intonation issues are simply to do with me and the reed. The tone of the instrument is very flexible so can be adapted according to what is needed. Within the orchestra I can react to my colleagues both in terms of sound and dynamics.”
“I love the flexibility of my bassoon as well as the focused sound and singing qualities of the tenor register. Where other instruments can feel unwieldy, almost like an obstacle to overcome, my 201 has always felt very accommodating, like an extension of my voice.”
