Kent State University Flute, Double Reed, and Clarinet Day

Kent State University’s Glauser School of Music hosts its annual Flute, Double Reed and Clarinet Day on November 9, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This comprehensive event welcomes woodwind musicians of all ages and ability levels, offering performances, masterclasses, group warm-ups, and breakout sessions led by distinguished faculty members.

The day features faculty concerts, instrument vendor exhibits, informational sessions with faculty and students, and culminates in a final concert performance. Participants also attend a workshop on the successful college application process with faculty Q&A. The event provides aspiring musicians and music educators with valuable learning opportunities and insights into collegiate-level music programs.
