Murray State University Double Reed Day

The first annual Murray State University Double Reed Day will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024! We are inviting oboists and bassoonists of all ages from all over the region to participate in a day of masterclasses, reed-making demonstrations, a Double Reed Ensemble, and more! This year’s event will feature guest artist Susan Miranda and a special appearance by the Larkspur Reed Trio. All classes and sessions will be taught by Prof. Susan Miranda and Dr. Stephanie Carlson.
