The rotary right hand whisper key lock, also known as a type 3 right hand whisper key, lock operates in a rotary manner. The lock revolves around a vertical axis. The touch location is similar to the discontinued slide style/type 2 lock; only the manner of movement is different.
This lock currently comes standard on Model III, 460, II, 201, 601, 660, and 680 bassoons.
